Construct Capital on why it invested in Polygrade
Construct Capital shares why it backed Polygrade: warranty claims still run largely by hand, and Polygrade’s AI agents do that work on top of the systems warranty companies already use.

On launch day, Construct Capital published its investment thesis for Polygrade, “Investing in Polygrade: The Missing Platform for Warranty Claims.”
Construct makes the case that warranty claims work is still largely manual. A single claim can involve the homeowner, the warranty company, a contractor, several parts suppliers and the manufacturer, with a claims agent moving between systems in the middle. Polygrade’s task-specific AI agents take on that work across the claim, from first notice of loss through payment, within each warranty company’s own rules, and they run on top of the systems warranty companies already use.
The piece also explains what drew Construct to the team: David Steckel, Eui Chung and Kaustubh Vongole have worked across nearly every part of the operation Polygrade is building for. Construct sees the opportunity extending beyond home warranty into extended and OEM warranties and equipment breakdown coverage, anywhere a claim ends with something physical that needs to be repaired or replaced.
